PARTICIPATION 2024

The YoungBrandAwards are the largest independent online voting for teenagers, young adults and families in Germany.
As part of the voting, participants choose the most popular brands, the employers with the best benefits and the most interesting new products.
Our USP:

The favorite brands of 2024

NOMINATION
All brands are nominated as part of an unsupported survey in the Youngcom youth network (age group 16 to 35 years; n=200; January 2024).

PARTICIPATION
– Voting starts on May 1st, 2024 and ends on October 1st, 2024
– The most popular brand is queried (from a selection of at least 3 and a maximum of 8 brands) a category.
– The winner is the brand with the most votes from all voters aged 16 to 35
– Nominated companies can invite people to vote during the voting and thus increase the number of votes.

Number of brands queried:
Minimum 3, maximum 10 per category

Question: "The best Building society/digital camera/etc.?”

Most Popular Brand Winner:
The brand with the most votes in the 16 to 35 age group wins.

Award: Most popular brand in the category (e.g. "Most popular building society")

Next Gen Workplace 2024

The world of work is changing and young talents are looking for employers who not only understand this change, but also actively help shape it. The YoungBrandAwards offer current and individual data and information about the company and its offerings to the young generation. The questions asked include the individual benefits and values of an employer.

NOMINATION
All employers are nominated as part of a supported survey.

PARTICIPATION

– Regional and national employers can take part
– Voting starts on May 1st. and ends on October 1st, 2024 (12:00 p.m. each time).

Methodology:
Randomized, representative online voting

Survey period:
May 1st to October 1st, 2024

Interviewed age group: 16 to 35 years

Participants per provider/service:
at least n=500 people interviewed

Score based on:
Be queried the benefits of the employer, Values, as well as interest in the employer.

Award:
Employers who are rated by at least 500 participants with an average score of 3.0 out of 5.0 (interest) receive the award.

Top New Product 2024

Every year over 40,000 new products appear on the German market. The most interesting products are honored every year as part of the YoungBrandAwards.

PARTICIPATION
– Voting starts on May 1st. and ends on October 1st, 2024 (12 p.m. each time)
– Questions include product awareness, product features, product interest and willingness to buy. Products from the above categories can take part.
For the TOP NEW 2024-2025 award, products that comply with the 01.01.2022 appeared on the market.

Randomized, representative online voting

Survey period:
01.05. until October 1st, 2024 (12:00 p.m.)

Interviewed age group: 16 years and older, randomized

Persons interviewed per product:
at least n=500 people who evaluate the product interest

Award:
Products by at least 500 participants with an average score (product interest) of 3.0 out of 5.0 rated receive the award.

Score based on:
Querying the special features/advantages of the product
Question about the product interest (1 to 5 stars=score)

Finance & Service 2024

Financial and insurance products are an important building block for your own financial freedom and provision. The decision for mobile communications and energy tariffs is also very common in these generations.
Long-term relationships are often formed here.

NOMINATION
All products and services are nominated as part of a supported survey (n=200).

PARTICIPATION
– Providers of insurance and financial institutions, energy and mobile communications providers with products and tariffs for young adults and families (16 to 35 years old) can take part.

CATEGORIES
Products and services are awarded in the following categories:

– Current account and deposit
– Crowdfunding
– Insurance products and services
– Mobile phone tariffs
– Energy tariffs

Interviewed age group: 16 to 35 years, randomized

Award:
Products and services that have been rated by at least 500 participants with an average score (product interest) of 3.0 out of 5.0 receive the award.

Score based on:
Question about the basic interest based on the characteristics (0 to 5 stars=score)

Minimum score winner (= evaluation score):
At least 500 participants and 3.0 out of 5.0 stars in the age group 16 to 35 years
